- Although born in Baton Rouge, I grew up in Houston, where I lived in various places until I was about 9. At that time, I moved to Pasadena where I attended Teague Elementary, Miller Intermediate, and graduated from South Houston High School. I still have a few friends and family who live there, so I make it there once a year or so. I currently live in Denton, Texas, having lived in Austin, College Station, Houston (Clear Lake City), Baton Rouge, and Dallas. Oswald Glinkmeyer is a pseudonym. - Well well, small world. My own school progression went like this: Gardens, Southmore, PHS. My mom taught for many, many years at San Jac Intermediate, and my sister taught at South Houston for a few years. I usually go home for a week at Christmas and a week in the summer (we all go to Galveston for the week). Maybe I'll run into you back home sometime. =) Next time I go home, I'm planning on taking some shots of town to illustrate Pasadena, Texas (you can see some of my handiwork at Strand National Historic Landmark District, from last summer).
