[edit] Summary

I took this picture of the OSU Spirit Rider in front (north-west side) of Gallagher Iba Hall. On the base on the monument, it reads:

THE OSU SPIRIT RIDER

This monument was donated to Oklahoma State University through the support and generosity of those noted on the plaques around its base.

It is the creation of the noted Western Bronze Sculptor Jim L. Hamilton, a native Oklahoman.

This image of cooperation and coordination between man and horse captures the tradition, the energy and the spirit that are hallmarks of a great state - and a great University.
