Ostellato is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Ferrara in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 50 km northeast of Bologna and about 25 km southeast of Ferrara. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 6,762 and an area of 173.6 km2.[1]
Ostellato borders the following municipalities: Comacchio, Ferrara, Lagosanto, Masi Torello, Massa Fiscaglia, Migliarino, Migliaro, Portomaggiore, Tresigallo.
