Oshadhiparvata

Oshadhiparvata, that is the mountain of medicinal herbs, was a mythical mountain described in the Ramayana. In one of the well known and well authenticated account stated in the Ramayana, Hanuman uprooted the mountain and flew with it to the battlefield in Lanka. There the herbs were used by the Vaidyas to restore to life the dead ones, and to treat the wounded warriors fighting on the side of Rama.
