osFree is a project attempting to build an Open Source clone of IBM's OS/2 Operating System. It yearns to have the functionality of OS/2 Warp 4(Merlin) and achieve basic compatibility with OS/2 programs. The development for OSFree has however stopped in recent months due to a snag in programming. However there has been a sparked reinterest in continuing the project, and it hopes to succeed in where it failed before. Unfortunately, there are few developers working on OSFree after its rebirth, but there is hope that developers will come their way.
