Oscar Smuff

Oscar Smuff is a fictional character in the Hardy Boys books. He is a detective trying to get work with the Bayport police force, and sometimes happens to be working on the same case as the Hardy Boys. In the books he is described as a plump, short man. The Hardy Boys always solve a case before he does. Smuff was introduced to the Hardy Boys series in their first book, The Tower Treasure.
