Osaka Prefectural Urban Development

Osaka Pretectural Urban Development (大阪府都市開発, Ōsaka-fu Toshi Kaihatsu^?) is the third sector company which manages commercial distribution center and the Senboku Rapid Railway in Osaka. Osaka prefecture urban development and that subsidiary company are called the "OTK group" (OTKグループ, OTK Gurūpu^?) together.

Railroad business diverging from the Nakamozu Station of the Nankai Kōya Line as a Senboku Rapid Railway, has done business to the Izumi-Chūō Station. The Osaka Prefecture at the time of the communication route construction to Senboku new town, you examined new route construction in the Nankai Electric Railway which runs local end. But because Nankai on the sixties latter half causes large accident in consecution and receives strict note from the transport authorities, was urgent business investment to purchase of the new vehicle and such as restoration of the railroad track. Because of that, investment of large sum being necessary, the hand did not turn to the construction of the new route which cannot anticipate profit for a while, the Osaka prefecture, utilized the existing third sector company inevitably and came to the point of undertaking railway operation.
