Talk:Orthodox file manager
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
It seems that 7-Zip File Manager follows some part of the OFM standard, such as two panels, TAB key to switch between, F5 to copy and F6 to move files. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 211.167.159.70 (talk • contribs) 00:35, August 17, 2005 EST.

[edit] Move page to Orthodox file manager?
"OFM" is hardly descriptive, and we also have to deal with the disambiguation. I move that this page be moved to Orthodox file manager and that OFM becomes a dedicated disambiguation page. --Aurochs

[edit] FTP
Is FTP really a common feature of orthodox file managers? Also, the examples section is far too long. Someone who knows which of them are notable should crop it, and remove the misplaced external links at the same time. Amaurea 12:49, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] ?
Who dreamed up this definition? A Google search for "Orthodox file manager" yelds a measly 305 results. Moreover, there is NO MENTION of this thing in the Jargon file. The term "orthodox" is NEVER mentioned in GNU Midnight Commander 's home page. This entry is either a joke or somebody's personal "invention" and should be removed. --88.149.168.128 10:35, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
