[edit] Biography

Orthrelm is a duo with Mick Barr on guitar and Josh Blair on drums, experimenting in many forms of unconventional songwriting styles and musical concepts in general.

They've released a few notable and significant releases since their beginnings within projects such as Crom-Tech and Barr's solo side-project Octis. For example, their 2002 release Asristir Vieldriox is 13 minutes long with a total of 99 songs, each one averaging between 5 and 15 seconds in length.[1] Since its initial release, it has remained an avant-garde artifact and is considered a prime example of modern composition.[citation needed] In striking contrast, the OV album features a single, 45-minute track based on extremely intense repetition.
