From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Orthodox temple is used in different ways:
- Orthodox Church temple belonging to Orthodox Christianity.
- A synagogue belonging to Judaism. Usually, Jews belonging to Reform Judaism refer to their own synagogues as "Temples" and when they wish to refer to a synagogue belonging to Orthodox Judaism they often use the term Orthodox temple even though Orthodox Jews do not refer to their own synagogues as such.
- The ancient Jewish Temple in Jerusalem.
