Orlando Brown (born December 12, 1970 in Washington, D.C.) was an American football player who played offensive tackle. He was released by the Baltimore Ravens in March, 2006, and has previously played for the Cleveland Browns. He is currently not an active player. He attended South Carolina State University.
He is known for an incident during a pro football game on December 19, 1999 in which he was accidentally hit in the eye by a flag thrown by referee Jeff Triplette. An upset Brown shoved Triplette to the ground, and was forced to sit out several years because of the eye injury. He also is thought to have lost the 2003 wild card game for the Baltimore Ravens with a personal foul that allowed the Tennessee Titans to be in field goal range with under 30 seconds on the clock and the game tied, The field goal was made from 46 yards out, sending the Ravens home early.
