Orin is a commune of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques département, in southwestern France. Population (1999): 207.

"Orin", according to author Sanaya Roman, is a "Being of Light" who wrote a book called Living with Joy, channeled consciously through Sanaya Roman, who went on to write a series of books based on the themes in this single volume. Orin means "white" in Gaelic Irish and the name is derived from the name St. Ohdran or Ordran (meaning "brunette"), who was the chariot driver of St. Patrick and died protecting him.
