Orhan Kemal

Orhan Kemal (born 15 September 1914, Adana - died 2 June 1970, Sofia) is the pen name of Turkish novelist Mehmet Raşit Öğütçü. He is known for his realist novels that tells the stories of the poor in Turkey.
