[edit] Rivals
Oregon State's only official rival is the Oregon Ducks. The two teams play in the Civil War each season. Other popular rivalries exists with the two other Pacific Northwest Pac-10 schools, the University of Washington Huskies and the Washington State Cougars, with the Huskies possibly being the Beaver's second biggest rival. The Beaver's rocky history with Idaho's Boise State University make them a tough non-conference rival.[citation needed]
