Oralux

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Oralux is an audio GNU/Linux distribution for visually impaired computer users. It uses various Free/Libre/Open-Source Software for speech synthesis such as Emacspeak, Yasr and Speakup or for braille such as BRLTTY.

It is available as a LiveDistro, which means that it can be run from a CD-ROM, without having to install anything on a computer's hard disk or make any changes to the installed operating system. For example, it can be used on a Microsoft Windows computer without any adverse consequences.
