Optoman

Optoman is a fictional character, a mutant in the Marvel Comics Universe. His first appearance was in X-Statix #1.

Optoman is a member of America's newest mutant superhero team, O-Force. Like all potential recruits, Optoman had to compete in a live television program, hosted by Solomon O'Sullivan, to win a place on the O-Force team. It's unknown if Optoman lost or kept his mutant powers after the M-Day.

Optoman could generate what appeared to be flashes of light from his eyes that can hypnotize the people.
