Opijnen (51°50′N 5°18′E) is a town in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Neerijnen, and lies about 10 km southwest of Tiel.

In 2001, the town of Opijnen had 641 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.18 km2, and contained 260 residences.[1] The statistical area "Opijnen", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 1060.[2]
