Talk:Open Air Stereo

I have substantially rewritten it because it was totally ridiculous. A total fluff piece, it read more like a promotional story / interview in a teen magazine. Neutrality. We can't talk about hard hitting, powerful sounds. These are matters of personal taste and judgment of quality. We can't talk about how such a band naturally grew out of such a love for music; this is unverifiable speculation and is unnecessarily laudatory of a subject we are supposed to have no bias for or against. It shouldn't be obvious how much you like the band; your opinion should be indiscernable. For example, I think this band is fucking awful, but I managed to present the necessary information without saying "It seems fitting that such a shitty band would become famous because of such a shitty TV show." Record contracts, recordings, release dates, how they became famous, verifiable genre affiliations, any social importance or controversy associated with the group or its individual members, this is really all a band article can do. I spent a lot of time making this article look remotely encyclopedic, so please don't revert everything without talking to me. Remember, quotations are only useful if they refer to something notable or important. Of course the drummer is going to say he likes the songs on the album. --Tractorkingsfan 13:21, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
