Talk:OpenPBX by Voicetronix
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This entry is required because of a name conflict with the OpenPBX.org project. A good dictionary will always provide information about issues which are confused due to similarity in name. It is one of the things people use a dictionary for. Deleting this article would re-introduce confusion. If the entry is considered advertising, then please edit the text in a way that the entry satisfies whatever standards you want to maintain. I have tried to edit it now in order to emphasise on the name clash and resulting confusion but I don't know whether this satisfies Wikipedians or not.

I fully agree with the need for this page to be here. If this is to be deleted because of a policy of not discussing commercial organizations, the Asterisk_PBX must be removed as well, along with MySQL, and roughly half the articles in the wikipedia.
- Wikipedia has policies to determine if a article belongs, in this case WP:CORP among others. BJTalk 11:29, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

- I understand this, but looking into the Asterisk_PBX license, you find it's a split license, and that Asterisk_PBX is also a product sold shrinkwrapped by Digium. Same applies to MySQL. Listing Voicetronix no worse nor better than these. User:Royk

- Would it be sufficient to rewrite this page without too much of the marketing style for this not to be removed? I beleive it's important to keep it, but perhaps in another tone. User:Royk
