Operation Emery

Operation Emery was a series of twelve nuclear tests conducted at the Nevada Test Site.
These explosions occurred after the Mandrel series and before Grommet.
The "Baneberry" blast was notable for the three million curies (110 petabecquerels) of radiation that escaped through cracks in the ground. This was the "dirtiest" acknowledged American nuclear test.
