Onsala

Onsala is the biggest peninsula in Sweden, 40 kilometers south of Gothenburg. Population 12-14,000. Part of Kungsbacka municipality. East coast densely inhabited, mainly villas. Biggest village is Gottskär, in older days a fisherman village, today a few restaurants and leisure boat harbour. Lars Gathenhielm was born in the old parish of Onsala.
