No, "online" and "on-line" are two completely different concepts. I'll wait for comments here first, but I strongly want to revert the merging that just happened for online and on-line. Bevo 18:09, 7 Feb 2004 (UTC)

I believe that there are a number of concepts that both "online" and "on-line" describe, but I believe that the two words are synonyms, and share the same meanings. If we are to have two articles, we should disambiguate them more clearly than by use of hyphens: eg, online and online (internet) or similar. Martin 18:53, 7 Feb 2004 (UTC)
