One hundred hours

Onehundredhours ('100h', or 'the hours') is a Christian Rock Band. Tre Sheppard is the front man of the hours, he plays guitar, and does vocals. Tori Sheppard, his wife, does backing vocals, Paul Baker is on drums, Mark Prentice plays bass, and Steve Evans is the second guitarist.

The band began at a 'one off' concert, which led on to a tour of California. They went on to tour all over the world; the US, UK,Hungary, Norway, Finland, Holland, Denmark, South Africa, Romania, Canada, India and Australia. The Sheppards now live in Ireland, and the band continue to perform all over the world.
The band now play numerous gigs, all over Europe, but mainly within the UK. They are regulars at Christian conferences such as Spring Harvest, Soul Survivor, and Ignite, where Tre is renowned for his preaching abilities. They try to live out their motto of ‘Faith, hope and rock’n’roll’

The Bands name comes from the average amount of free time a Christian has each week, inspired by the book ‘The other hundred hours’ by Wyn Fountain. The process goes something like this:
7 x 24 = 168
7 x 8 = 56 So extracting the time spent sleeping, that leaves 112 hours a week.
12 hours is about the maximum time one can spend in church, at bible studies, or youth groups etc..
That leaves 100 hours, and the band wanted to say that this doesn’t need to be 100 hours without God, but instead that Worship should be a lifestyle, which spans all our time.

engagehivaids.com was set up by Tre to help those, whose lives are being ruined by a disease which, although currently incurable, can easily be treated or prevented. To date, many campaigns have been run, including selling red rubber wrist bands, a texting service, and selling badges.
