"One Way or Another" is track number 2 from the 1978 album Parallel Lines by Blondie. The song was written by Deborah Harry and Nigel Harrison. It was released as a single in the U.S., where it reached number 24 in the American Billboard Hot 100 charts. It was never officially released in the UK nor many other countries, but remains one of the group's most popular songs worldwide.

- This is the the tune to the hit UK TV Series Sugar Rush
- Blondie themselves re-recorded the song as the theme for the 1999 U.S. TV series Snoops. The song was released in the U.S. as a bonus track on their album Live.
- Kristen Bell performs a karaoke version of this song in an episode of Veronica Mars.
- Bloodhound Gang incorporated the chorus in their song "One Way" from their album Use Your Fingers.
- Brooklyn hardcore hip hop rapper, Necro, incorporated the chorus in his X-rated song "One Way Or Another".
- Sophie Ellis-Bextor re-recorded it for the soundtrack to the film The Guru.
- Melissa Joan Hart takes part in a 'Battle Of The Bands' competition by performing the song in an episode of Sabrina, the Teenage Witch.
- CSS does a mash-up of the song with "Teenage Kicks" by The Undertones on their 2004 independent EP "Em Rotterdam Já É Uma Febre/A Onda Mortal".
- Piper Perabo sings along to the jukebox to stop a barfight in Coyote Ugly.
- It can be heard in the background of the movie Mean Girls when Lindsay Lohan carries out her revenge.
- Mandy Moore performed it on her covers album Coverage.
- Mandy Moore also performed it for the movie Aquamarine starring Emma Roberts, Sara Paxton and Joanna "JoJo" Levesque; all three singers.
- It was also used in the Baileys TV adverts where the woman kissed the blokes to find out who drank the Baileys.
- Kristen Bell also performed this song as a karaoke ode to the Tritons, a secret society of her fictional high school, in an episode of Veronica Mars.
