"One Man Shy" (a.k.a. "Peter and The Debutante") is the 13th episode in the first season of The Monkees television series. It was broadcast on NBC December 5, 1966 (first-run) and August 14, 1967 (repeat) and rerun January 24, 1970 September 25, 1971 on CBS and October 14, 1972 and May 26, 1973 and ABC.

Bashful Peter gets by with a little help from his fellow Monkees when tries to win the heart of a pretty debutante who has a terribly rich boyfriend.
