"One Crowded Hour" is a song by Australian rock band Augie March. The song is the first single off their 2005 studio album entitled Moo, You Bloody Choir. The song had been played by both the band and acoustically by frontman, Glenn Richards, for upwards of two years before the album was finally released.

The song was picked up and played by radio station Triple J at first, but then Nova 100 added it to their playlist, giving the song decent radio exposure.

The song debuted at #37 on the ARIA singles chart and peaked 9 weeks later at #33.

The elusive meaning behind this song has been the topic of many chat rooms on Australian music since its popularity has boomed. The band has released a media statement saying that the song was written about an old school mate, Duncan Markwald, who inadvertently impregnated his long time girlfriend, Jess McMeking. This song was originally played by Augie March at the wedding of this couple, but impressed the wedding guests sufficiently that they released it onto their "Moo, You Bloody Choir" record 2 years later.
