[edit] Reinsurance

OMNIASIG has one of the largest and comprehensive reinsurance programmes in Romania , that due to the top reinsurers involved can offer to our clients a high level security protection.

The reinsurance contracts are built for each line of business and are conceived so as to protect both against big individual losses and series of losses arising from the same event (such as natural catastrophes: earthquakes, floods etc).

The quality of the reinsurance contract placement services, the activity of recovering the losses from participating reinsurers, as well as the corresponding consultancy are guaranteed by the renown brokers Omniasig is co-operating with, that is Marsh/ Guy Carpenter, AON Re Lt. and Willis Ltd. which are the world top three brokers/

It is important to mention the fact that using such important brokers of the international market is a proof for the high quality of the reinsurers participating to the programmes as on these brokers' underwriters list there are to be found only companies with a stability, credibility and financial strength that can not be contested and which are accordingly rated by the largest rating companies of the world. This aspect was proven lately when we have been in situation to pay losses and which we promptly settled and subsequently recovered them from reinsurers.

Due to the nature of the reinsurance contracts and to the way they are conceived and according to which optimum reinsurance costs were obtained, Omniasig is able to offer to its clients one of the most competitive prices on the market for property, cargo, civil liability, aviation, marine lines of business.

Our company proved to be a very reliable partner and therefore it was asked to play as fronting company on behalf of more and more foreign insurance companies.

Based on its financial capacity and experience gained along the 10 years of activity on the Romanian market, OMNIASIG plays an active role as reinsurer for other local insurance companies, undertaking risks that are further on protected by our own reinsurance programmes.
