Om Prakash Chautala (Hindi: ओम प्रकाश चौटाला) (born January 1, 1935) is an Indian politician from the state of Haryana. He is the leader of the INLD (Indian National Lok Dal), a Harayana based political party in India. He is also a former Chief Minister of the state. In the 2005 Haryana state assembly elections, INLD lost its majority, winning just 9 out of the 90 seats compared to the Congress party's 67 seats. Chautala resigned and Bhupinder Singh Hooda became the Chief Minister of Haryana.

During his controversial tenure as Chief Minister of Haryana, he was the man who made a significant progress in haryana from remote areas to urban areas .IN making of a gurgoan as a IT HUB this all credit goes to shri om prakash chautala.

Chautala is the eldest son of Chaudhari Devi Lal, a former deputy prime minister of India.
