I work since 2002 on openbarter and contribute to barter in english and french encyclopedia.

Barter is a no man's land of the economic field, but it's potential is ignored. Statistics are rare and approximative, but WTO considers it's 15% of the world wide economy. In contrast:

Core algorithms of openbarter are implemented on less than ten pages of python script, solving the non obvious problem related to the fact it is not possible to find a best solution when the graph contains loops.

This project does not contribute to the large economic slavery system of computer programmers created around the wonderful idea of GPL as long as it is the result of sevral years of work without any economic reward.
