Olivier Deschacht (born February 16, 1981) is a Belgian footballer currently playing for R.S.C. Anderlecht as a left back. He also plays for the Belgium national football team. He is known to be a talented young player (he makes passes full of effects and has a good technique) but he still often commits heavy professional fouls.

At the age of 7, he began playing for S.K. Begonia Lochrist before he moved to K.A.A. Gent in 1991. He then spent two years (1995-1997) at K.S.C. Lokeren Oost-Vlaanderen and signed for Anderlecht to play in their academy. He made his first team debut in 2001 under the coaching of Aimé Anthuenis. In four seasons, he played 93 matches and scored once.
