Olivia Cole (November 26, 1942, Memphis, Tennessee), American television (mainly) actress, in retirement since 1995. She was the very first Afro-American actress ever to be nominated for and won Emmy Award. Her telegraphy includes titles like : Deborah Mehren on The Guiding Light,"Roots", "Backstairs at the White House", "Something about Amelia", "North and South, Book I", "Brewster Place" and others. She is an honorary member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
