Oliver Ames

Oliver Ames (February 4, 1831 - October 22, 1895) was a U.S. political figure. He was a governor of Massachusetts (1887 - 1890) and the son of Oakes Ames. He was born in North Easton, Massachusetts, in 1831. Easton's high school is named for him.
