Olimpico Sevilla (Spanish: Estadio Olímpico de la Cartuja) is a multi-use stadium situated in Seville, Spain. It was completed in 1999 for the 1999 World Championships in Athletics and seats about 72,000 people. A UEFA 5-star rated stadium, it was the venue for the 2003 UEFA Cup final between Celtic FC and FC Porto.
The stadium was one of those included in the Seville bid for the 2008 Summer Olympics. After the failure of the bid, the stadium remained unused by either of Sevilles major football teams. Real Betis and Sevilla FC each use their own stadia. However, until January 2007, Real Betis are improving their Manuel Ruiz de Lopera Stadium, and the team has temporarily moved to the Olimpico.
