Ole Tobiasen

Ole Tobiasen (born 8 July 1975 is a Danish professional footballer. He is a defender, playing mostly as a right back, but also in the central defence. He has been capped six times for the Danish national football team.

Ole Tobiasen started his career with Danish outfit B 1908, and after playing for a few clubs in the Copenhagen area, he moved on to the Dutch club SC Heerenveen. After two years and 34 matches, big team Ajax Amsterdam spotted his talent and transferred Tobiasen into their squad for the 1997/1998 season. Tobiasen impressed in his first two years in Ajax, earning his six caps and featured in the Danish qualification campaigns for the 1998 FIFA World Cup and Euro 2000, but due to injury he missed out on both final tournaments. He was often seen raiding up the sideline from his right back position.

Tobiasen then went through a long period of injury lay-off, sitting in the stands for three full seasons; 1999-2002. His contract running out, Tobiasen went to AZ Alkmaar, where he played 13 matches, before returning to a former club of his, FC Copenhagen.

In the 2005/2006 transfer window, Ole Tobiasen was loaned out to AaB for six months, where he played regularly through the first half of the Danish Superliga 2005-06 season, in the central defence of AaB.

In 2006, Tobiasen signed with the Norwegian Tippeliga debutant's, Sandefjord.
