Ole Sørensen (explorer)

Ole Sørensen is a Danish cave expert who in 1970 discovered a new concealed cavern of Harrison's Cave in Saint Thomas Parish in the centre of the Caribbean island of Barbados. The new cavern which became known as the crystal caverns contained stalagmites and stalactites. The recently discovered cavern had a forty foot waterfall flowing into a deep pool at the end of the cave. Sørensen has also discovered a number of new caverns in several of the other Caribbean islands such as Martinique and Montserrat and several in the fjords of Norway.
