Oldham Werneth railway station is a small railway station on the Oldham Loop Line, 10 km (6ΒΌ miles) north east of Manchester Victoria. The station is situated on Featherstall Road South, Werneth, in Oldham, Greater Manchester, England.
It predominantly serves local Chadderton, Westwood and Werneth residents. The station, and all trains serving it, are operated by Northern Rail.
It has been proposed that this station be closed and replaced with an extension of the Metrolink system. However, this plan has been put on hold due to withrdawal of previously promised funding by Central Government.

It is served every half-hour towards Manchester Victoria southbound and Rochdale northbound Monday to Saturdays. Evenings and Sundays there is an hourly service in each direction.
