Old Fort, Ohio is a small village located in Pleasant Township, Seneca County, Ohio, United States
Old Fort is named after Fort Seneca, which was a fort built during the War of 1812.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 1,679 people, 618 households, and 490 families residing in the township. The population density was 46.64/mi². There were 646 housing units at an average density of 18.15/mi². The racial makeup of the township was 97.4% White, 0% African American, 0.6% Native American, 0.1% Asian, 0% Pacific Islander, 1.4% from other races, and .5% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.2% of the population.
There were 618 households out of which 34.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 71.5% were married couples living together, 5.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 20.7% were non-families. 17.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 7.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.72 and the average family size was 3.08.
In the township, the population was spread out with 26.9% under the age of 18, 7.3% from 18 to 24, 28.1% from 25 to 44, 25% from 45 to 64, and 12.7% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 38.7 years. For every 100 females there were 104.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 104.2 males.
The median income for a household in the township was $47,883, and the median income for a family was $51,518. Males had a median income of $34,063 versus $26,176 for females. The per capita income for the township was $17,964. About 3.1% of families and 5.4% of the population were below the poverty line, including 10.7% of those under age 18 and 2.3% of those age 65 or over.
