[edit] Track closure

In July 2006, it was announced that the track had been sold and would be torn down because some new houses were to be built there. Some Manassas residents believe that the Fairgrounds are next. Rumors have been circulating that there will be no 2007 season; that 2006 will be the last. Those rumors have not been confirmed.
