Old City Hall, Hong Kong

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The first City Hall of Hong Kong was a 2-storey colonial-style building at 1 Queen's Road Central in 1869. It was demolished in 1933, and the first headquarters building of the HongkongBank was built on the site. The design is similar to the current Legislative Council Building (also known as the former Supreme Court Building) and Murray House. It was not until 1962 a new City Hall was rebuilt.
