Ola loves the Samba. "It's without doubt my favourite dance - it's fast, it's rhythmical and there is so much body movement. I'm fun and bouncy and I think that's exactly what the Samba is all about."

Ola began to dance rather late in life, when she was 12 years old. There were dance classes at school and Ola always wanted to try it.

Her first recorded dance as a dance partnership (as Aleksandra Grabowska) was in the Dutch Open in 2000. Previously Aleksandra danced with Przemek Lowicki in Poland. From 2000 to 2005 they danced as amateurs but have since turned professional. She is married to her professional dance partner, James Jordan, who is also in Strictly Come Dancing.
