State Highway 34 (OK-34 or SH-34) is a state highway in Oklahoma. It runs 188.5 miles^[1] south-to-north in the western part of the state.

There are three letter-suffixed spur highways branching from OK-34, OK-34A, OK-34B, and OK-34C.

[edit] Route Description

OK-34 begins at OK-34 six miles northeast of Eldorado. Heading north, it intersects US 62 just east of Duke. Continuing north, OK-34 joins US 283 in Mangum, seat of Greer County.

Two miles north of Mangum, OK-9 joins at for a four-mile triplex with OK-34 and US 283.

Nine miles north of Mangum, OK-34B branches off to the west, connecting to the town of Brinkman, and four miles later, OK-34A branches off to the west to the town of Willow.

US 283 splits off to the northwest two miles after that, and OK-34 continues north to intersect with OK-55 in Carter ten miles later. In another five miles, OK-34 crosses OK-152, and continues on to join up with I-40, west of Elk City.

OK-34 shares a duplex with I-40 for ten miles, exiting the Interstate east of Elk City and heading back to the north. OK-73's western terminus is at OK-34 at nine miles north of I-40, and OK-34 crosses OK-33 just east of Hammon, six miles after that.

OK 34 crosses OK-47 two miles south of Leedey, and crosses the Canadian River about four miles south of Camargo. Just east of Vici, OK-34 joins US 60 and OK-51 for a one-mile duplex, then OK-34 heads north again at Vici.

The highway passes through Sharon about nine miles north of Vici, then joins US 183/US 270/OK-3 four miles south of Woodward. At Woodward, OK-34 again sets off to the north alone, and right after crossing the North Canadian River, OK-34C branches to the east about two miles north of Woodward, connecting to Boiling Springs State Park.

OK-34 joins US 64 in far eastern Harper County for a four-mile duplex to the east, crossing the Cimarron River 17 miles east of Buffalo. The highway then turns back to the north, where it is 10 miles to its terminus at the Kansas state line.
