Oklahoma Baptist University is a Christian liberal arts university located in Shawnee, Oklahoma. The Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma owns the school. The school has a student to faculty ratio of 15:1. It has outstanding science, nursing, media, and music departments, and prides itself on offering students a liberal arts foundation.

OBU's housing system includes four dormitories: Agee Residence Center (men), Kerr Residence Hall (women), WMU Residence Hall (freshman women), and Taylor Residence Center (upper-class women). Taylor's rooms are the largest, while Kerr and WMU have noticeably smaller rooms. Agee's rooms range a variety of sizes, with the rooms on the wings being larger than the rooms on the main hallway. There are several apartment complexes, including MacArthur Drive Apartments, West University Apartments, Devereaux West and East Apartments, and Cobbs Apartments. Also, the Howard Complex includes both a dormitory and apartments.
