[edit] Summary

Wigham's 31-day oil lamp. Invented in 1877 by John R Wigham. Fitted in a buoy or mounted on a tower. This example is a exhibit in National Maritime Museum of Ireland. It is the property of the Maritime Institute of Ireland. I took this photo on behalf of the MII. If reproducing please reference the museum. ClemMcGann 23:12, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
