  • Originally routed from Shelby to 10 miles north of Ashland along current route 96 from Shelby to Ashland and route 58 from Ashland to 10 miles north of Ashland. [2]
  • Ashland to 10 miles north of Ashland certified as route 58 in 1926. [2]
  • Truncated at Ashland in 1926. [2]
  • Extended to Bucyrus along previous unnumbered road in 1939. [2]
  • Rerouted from route 100 to 4 miles north of Bucyrus in 1972. [2]
  • Route 100 to Bucyrus decertified in 1972. [2]
