Ohio State Route 576

Ohio State Route 576 or SR 576 is a highway located in Williams County, beginning at SR 2 near Bryan, and going north to the Michigan state line, where it meets with Hillsdale County's Hillsdale Road.

  • Originally routed from Williams Center to Montepelier. [2]
  • Montpelier to 4 miles north of Montpelier was unnumbered before 1926. [2]
  • Montpelier to 4 miles north of Montpelier was route 20S from 1926-35. [2]
  • Montpelier to 4 miles north of Montpelier was route 20A from 1935-63. [2]
  • Current route 20 to Michigan state line was unnumbered before 1938. [2]
  • Current route 20 to Michigan state line was route 571 from 1938-57. [2]
  • In 1957, extended to Michigan state line along route 20A from Montpelier to 4 miles north of Montpelier, route 20 from 4 miles north of Montpelier to 1 mile south of Bridgewater Center, and previous route 571 from 1 mile south of Bridgewater Center to Michigan state line. [2]
  • Route 20A certification removed in 1963. [2]
