State Route 420 is a north-south state highway in the northwestern portion of the U.S. state of Ohio. The highway is divided in its entirety (though it is an at-grade divided highway). Its southern terminus is at its at-grade interchange with the U.S. Route 20/U.S. Route 23 duplex near the village of Lemoyne, nearly 10 miles southeast of Perrysburg. As of April 2006, this interchange is undergoing a conversion to a freeway interchange. The route’s northern terminus is at the southern terminus of Interstate 280 where the two routes interchange with the Ohio Turnpike; this interchange is almost 2½ miles north of State Route 420’s southern terminus. The route’s main purpose is to link drivers from U.S. Routes 20 and 23 to Interstate 280 and the Turnpike.
