State Route 245 is an east-west state highway in the southern portion of the U.S. state of Ohio. Its western terminus is at U.S. Route 52 in Coal Grove, and the route continues in an eastward direction. Following its junction with State Route 378, State Route 243 heads due south. Near the Ohio River, the route multiplexes with State Route 7 through Proctorville, and later splits from State Route 7 near the fairgrounds and heads north, and then east through the community of Rome. Finally the route meets its eastern terminus at State Route 7 about 3 miles east of Proctorville.

- 1928 – Original route certified; originally routed from Rome to 3 miles east of Rome[2].
- 1933 – Routed from Coal Grove to Bradrick along a previously unnumbered road, and concurrently with State Route 7 from Bradrick to Rome[2].
