  • Originally routed from Indiana state line 4 miles west of Payne to Defiance along current route 613 from Indiana state line to Payne, route 49 from Payne to 8 miles west of Paulding, route 111 from 8 miles west of Paulding to Paulding, an unnumbered road from Paulding to Junction, and route 111 from Junction to Defiance.   • Indiana state line to Payne certified as route 113 in 1926. [2]
  • Payne to 8 miles west of Paulding certified as route 49 in 1926. [2]
  • Truncated at 8 miles west of Paulding in 1926. [2]
  • Extended to Indiana state line along previous unnumbered road in 1935. [2]
  1. In 1984, rerouted from Paulding to Junction along route 127 from Paulding to 3 miles north of Paulding and previous unnumbered road from 3 miles north of Paulding to Junction. [2]
