"Ohio Is For Lovers" is the first single released by the rock band Hawthorne Heights from their debut album The Silence in Black and White. It has become a signature song for the band as evidenced by the song title's presence on T-shirts and other band merchandise. Its chorus contains the words 'Cut my wrists and black my eyes'. These words are only meant metaphorically, not literally as many people are lead to believe.

The song is about rifts forming between the band's members and their girlfriends, due to long periods spent away from each other. The title refers to the fact that all of the band members' girlfriends live in Ohio.

The video shows the band playing in an old building and a little girl aging at a rapid rate. It also shows the other band members performing in the building. There is also close-up footage of spiders, spinning their webs in various areas of the building.
