Ohio Art Company
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Ohio Art Company is a children's toy company. It is based in Bryan, Ohio, in the United States. Some of its most recognizable products include the Etch-A-Sketch and Betty Spaghetty. Since the introduction of the Etch a sketch, the Etch a sketch became part of their corporate logo. In addition, the company's Diversified Products segment manufactures lithographed products for the photographic, food container, and specialty premium markets.
Ohio Art also marketed some windup tin toys manufactured by Gebruder Einfalt under the "Technofix" brand name. One excellent example is the "Switch and Dump", which consists of a small freight train which loads and unloads a log at the two ends of the track.
